The Escola Internacional del Camp will participate from November 2nd to December 19th in a project of intergenerational videoconferences between users (older people) from L’Onada centres and students from the school. This project aims to promote conversations between people of different ages with common interests. Through these interactions we aim to foster values such as solidarity, commitment and empathy.
In addition, it is a solidarity initiative. For every conversation made between EIC students and users of the L’Onada centres, OnaCare Foundation will donate €1 to La Marató de TV3. The main objectives of this initiative are to understand the needs of others through communicating and conversing, to facilitate intergenerational communication between people of different ages with similar likes and concerns, to promote empathy and solidarity between different people, to collect money for La Marató de TV3 and to visualize and raise awareness of mental illnesses.
