Sports

Physical activity and sport form a key part of the educational process, have a direct impact on health, contribute to forming one´s personality and teach us how to positively deal with successes and failures. Self-improvement, commitment to oneself and others, spirit of sacrifice and ability to give are some of the values that taking part in sport develops, whether individually or as a team.

The school has magnificent facilities for a wide range of activities: 3,100 m2 of outdoor sports area, a multipurpose covered Sports Hall and complementary services.

Students have specialist teachers at all ages, both in sports and psychomotor skills, as well as access to swimming lessons in the first years of Primary school as part of Physical Education, included in the school timetable and fees.

We also participate in local championships, such as the Schools Olympics, and hold sporting events such as the Socrates Educa® International School Mile.

We have students who are highly involved in sports, competing in high-level competitions, from all over the world, and who see the Socrates Educa® International School as the ideal academic complement to his/her project and training (football, nautical, tennis, dance, etc.). We have already had national and world champions.

The Socrates Educa® International School Sports Club promotes sports and competition with a particular interest in volleyball, football and basketball as team sports, and judo, yoga, chess and skating, as individual sports. These sports activities are aimed at students, parents and staff alike.
