Socrates Educa International School Salou (SEIS) will host the 10th edition of the International University Fair, a well-established and pioneering educational event in the region, which will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the school’s facilities.
Around thirty national and international universities and institutions will participate in this new edition, offering students the opportunity to learn first-hand about a wide variety of academic pathways and future options, as well as to establish direct contact with university representatives.
This initiative, promoted by the Socrates Educa Foundation, aims to provide the entire educational community of Camp de Tarragona, Terres de l’Ebre, and southern Catalonia — students, families, and education professionals — with broad, rigorous, and personalized information to help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional future.
The fair is especially aimed at students in ESO, Bachillerato, IB, and Vocational Training programmes, and seeks to complement other educational fairs held in Catalonia, offering a differentiated approach with a clear international focus, both in terms of exhibitors and the talks and guidance sessions provided.
The event is part of SEIS’s Careers Guidance Week and its academic and professional guidance programme, which supports students throughout all educational stages: from ESO to Bachillerato and IB, and from these studies to university.
The Socrates Educa educational project promotes a specific academic and professional guidance plan starting from Year 10 (3rd year of ESO). In this regard, the International University Fair helps young people gain early exposure to a wide range of post-compulsory study options and career opportunities, both nationally and internationally, within an academic and professional environment that is constantly evolving.
In the case of SEIS, the results support this commitment: the school records a 100% transition rate to university, with students studying at more than 150 universities around the world, approximately 50% of which are international.
Once again, all students and the educational community of Camp de Tarragona, Terres de l’Ebre, and southern Catalonia are invited to participate in this 10th edition, celebrating a decade of a key event for academic guidance in the region.
