Today, Friday, March 20, the school hosted the roundtable “Real Experiences and Future Perspectives,” an initiative within the academic and career guidance plan aimed at students in 10th grade (4th ESO), Baccalaureate, and IB.
The main goal of the activity was to support students at a key moment in their personal and academic development, providing them with tools to reflect on their future and make informed decisions about their educational and professional pathways.
During the event, students had the opportunity to hear firsthand real experiences from professionals in different fields, gain a better understanding of possible academic routes, and explore the opportunities and challenges in various sectors.
The roundtable featured three distinguished speakers. Sergi Novo, an expert in innovation and digitalization and current manager of Clúster TIC Catalunya Sud, shared his experience in the technology sector and emphasized the importance of connecting companies, talent, and the local community. Xavi Fortuna, founder and CEO of Global Growth Consulting, offered his entrepreneurial perspective and shared his journey in creating and growing companies, highlighting the role of technology and artificial intelligence in today’s business world. Finally, Montserrat Vilella, with extensive experience in the public and social sectors, highlighted the value of service, social commitment, and the importance of public policies for society’s well-being.
Throughout the session, the speakers discussed their educational paths, professional careers, and relevant personal experiences, as well as their vision of the present and future of their respective sectors. They also offered practical advice and recommendations, which were very well received by the students.
Through activities like this, the school reaffirms its commitment to supporting students in their personal and academic growth, helping them build their future with knowledge, confidence, and inspiration.
