During this week, Socrates Educa International School has experienced an especially intense and enriching few days thanks to an exchange with students from Germany. It was an experience that combined learning, culture, and coexistence, leaving unforgettable memories for both the local students and their international peers.
Throughout the week, the students participated in various cultural outings to discover Catalan Modernism firsthand. The city of Barcelona was one of the highlights, where they admired iconic works by Antoni Gaudí, such as the Sagrada Família, and were impressed by its unique architecture and symbolism.
The journey continued in Reus, Gaudí’s hometown, where the students explored the modernist richness of its streets and buildings, and in Tarragona, where they appreciated the combination of historical and artistic heritage that characterizes the city.
As the grand finale of this special week, a farewell dinner was held at the school, marked by a festive and joyful atmosphere. The evening began with one of the school’s most meaningful traditions: the group photo next to the Fórum olive tree, a tree that has accompanied generations of students and symbolizes the identity, continuity, and shared values of the educational community.
After this touching start, the celebration moved on to fun activities such as a lively musical bingo, which engaged all attendees and set the rhythm for an unforgettable night.
Undoubtedly, this exchange week was a unique opportunity to strengthen international bonds, discover new cultures, and create experiences that will remain forever in the memory of all participants.
