Every spring, the city of Reus becomes a large sporting stage with the celebration of the School Olympics, an event that brings together students from many schools in the region with a common goal: to enjoy sport, share experiences, and live the Olympic values of respect, effort, and teamwork.

As expected, Socrates Educa International School also takes part with great enthusiasm. Our students compete in various disciplines, including football, rhythmic gymnastics, badminton, table tennis, and chess, as well as other activities such as dance and swimming. Each team represents the school with enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn and improve.

The school’s participation also had a very special moment during the opening ceremony. Our primary school captains, Eduard Molero and Maria del Carme, played an important role in this symbolic event. Eduard Molero was responsible for delivering the speech and the Olympic oath, representing all the participating athletes with a message of respect and fair play. Meanwhile, Maria del Carme took part in one of the most exciting moments of the ceremony: lighting the Olympic cauldron, officially marking the start of the Olympics.

From Socrates Educa International School, we encourage all participants to continue enjoying these Reus School Olympics.
