What are we doing in Science class?

our pupils from Primary 5 How I made it: the five kingdoms of living things.
Fexplain what are they doing 1- I cut a third of the styrofoam So we had to do a project about
in Science class. ball out. creating a cell in 3D or 2D. I've
2- Then I painted the styrofoam decided that it would be nice to
Martin Jakovlev (5A) ball. do a 3D plant cell. So I've taken
In Science class we are studying 3- I cut the cardboard with the some green foam rubber and
the five kingdoms of living same size as the styrofoam ball started creating the base of my
things. Our homework was to and I stuck it. plant cell using a big piece of foam
make a project of a cell diagram 4-I stuck the poster board and helping myself with some
of the kingdom the students like cardboard. super glue. The base was a basket
the most. We could draw a cell 5-I moulded the plasticine and I shape. Then I took a piece of foam
diagram or do a project. I did the stuck it to my cell. to cover the basket creating a
fungus kingdom cell, in a shoes 6-I wrote the names of the part of semicircular shape and painted
box. I used play-doh and paper to my cell and I stuck them on. all of the plant cell's details with
make it. After making it I labelled 7-And finally I drew the last things. acrylic paint. When it had dried David Amores. Maria del Peso.
it with little papers. well, I filled in the basket-shaped
David Amores (5A) base with some tissue paper for
Maria del Peso (5B) In Science we are studying the it not to lose it's shape and then
In Science class we are studying five kingdoms of living things. stuck the painted piece of foam
the five kingdoms of living things. We had to make a cell diagram rubber to cover the tissue paper.
The five living things are: Monera of one of the five kingdoms, and Then I stuck my finished cell onto
kingdom, Animal kingdom, Plant I decided to do it about the a rectangle cardboard box and
kingdom, Protist kingdom and bacteria cell. To make it, I had to then glued down all the names
Fungus kingdom. use a goggles box , some color of all the parts of my cell writed in
Mr Allison told us for homework paper, silicon and scissors. Then paper.
"you will have to make a cell". I decorated with fake diamonds, So that is how I made my science
For my cell I used a styrofoam and at the end I presented. project, it was fun and interesting
ball, paint (the color was green), making it but it took me quite
cardboard, plasticine, sticks, a pen Nadya Kryuchkova (5B) a lot of time, about one whole
and a poster board cardboard. In Science class we are studying afternoon. Nadya Kryuchkova. Martin Jakovlev.

         How do we learn Maths?

wo pupils from Primary 3B show us how
Tdo they learn maths in their classroom.

              How do we learn Maths
                     in Primary 3
                                                                                  Jordina Pàmies.
In Primary 3 we love Maths because
we learn in a very funny way. We use:
             cups, cards, mini-whiteboards... with
Maths Makes Sense. We use the link of
             mathematics as well.
It has a lot of additions, subtractions,
             timetables, divisions, maths problems,
             clocks, shapes, adding money and
more things. Celebrem la Castanyada i Halloween
             We love Maths! Escola
A l'EIC vam celebrar la Castanyada i Halloween. Cada classe va cantar
cançons i va torrar castanyes. Van preparar jocs i van gaudir de la festa.
Jordina Pàmies i Abril Vela. Els alumnes de 4t d'ESO van ajudar a organitzar-ho tot.
