Aloha Award, as she has already reached
the highest level in the Aloha way of

Origami cranes for La Marató de TV3
First Aid training In ESO 1 and 2 we have been making origami cranes for the La Marató
Students across the school had some de TV3 and we have done cross curricular reading comprehension by
First Aid training during Science Week. reading the Japanese Legend about Sadako Sasaki (1943-1955). Her story
This is an important Life Skill which is is one friendship and hope for world peace which made the paper cranes
valuable from the youngest age! her are a symbol of good will and hope. We read her story in Catalan during our
some pictures of Primary 2 in action. Community and Culture sessions and discussed it in English which made
the activity a wonderful cross-cultural lesson in communication. I attach a
photo of some of our cranes.
