VII Nit del Mecenatge

Students and families, teachers and other EIC staff, patrons of the Fundació Escola Internacional del Camp, donor families, political representatives, guests ... All of them, more than 170 people, were able to enjoy the seventh edition of the Nit del Mecenatge on 14t June, the closing ceremony of the course that the Escola Internacional del Camp celebrates each year in its facilities. This year it was again a success in terms of participation and the attendees took the opportunity to interact and get to know the families who make up the EIC community.

The FEIC Nit del Mecenatge is a charity event which aims to collect funds for scholarships and student aid, an initiative that is possible thanks to the financial contribution of all participants and also of the supporting families and donor companies who collaborate in this educational project which is our school, year after year.

The evening was conducted by two students who received scholarships from the FEIC, Jaume Margalef and Tomas Pérez, who introduced the different speeches: the president of the FEIC, Dr. Gabriel Ferraté; the General Manager of the FEIC, Jaume Vilella, and the director of the EIC, Jonathan Day, who was in charge of announcing the winners of the scholarships and prizes. Amanda Belmonte received the "Excel·lència Joan Gumà" Award; Hugo Fanjul the Premi Sòcrates Educa in the Scientific, Technological and Mathematical fields; Pre School teacher Anna Aluja won the "Premi Sòcrates Educa a l'Excel·lència Docent", and primary teacher Kimberley Neal the "Premi Sòcrates Educa a l'Excel·lència Docent" in Mathematical, Scientific and Technological fields.

The FEIC scholarships for ESO students, for out-of-school students who wish to study at the EIC, will be delivered at the end of July, after analysing each case individually.

After the delivery of scholarships and prizes, a dinner was held, with different activities and entertainment, in the Forum, followed by a party for all.
