ESO and Baccalaureate students from several schools in Tarragona and from the EIC, families and teachers attended the fair on 8th February, which hosted more than 30 national and international universities, companies and institutions, as well as Fundación Bertelsmann, which is developing Dual Training. It was a unique and innovative event, bringing together companies (such as BASF), schools and institutions.

Attendees could find out first-hand, and individually, about academic projects on offer to plan for their future. This initiative is part of the academic and professional guidance plan which EIC students follow throughout their learning process, and is open for all the territory. In this sense, it should be noted that the fair was visited by management teams, cycle coordinators and careers advisers from different schools in the province and public institutions in the area.

The opening ceremony saw speeches from the person responsible for the fair, Assistant Director of the EIC and Secondary Coordinator Ignasi Bau; the FEIC President, Gabriel Ferrater; Olga Fernández, Education Department Inspector, and the Mayoror of Salou, Pere Granados.

On the other hand, the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Geography from the URV, Marta Nel·lo, and the Vice-Dean, Jesús Angla, gave a talk on professional and personal profiles which exist in the tourism sector.
